As a vocal tutor, Talena has built up a great reputation and is asked frequently to teach in institutions around the North West, and is now a lecturer at Salford University. With a first class honours degree in Popular Music and Recording, she is a highly accomplished musician and songwriter, and is currently preparing her new solo project. Talena's main vocation is singing with established Manchester melodic metal band Gone Til Winter, touring frequently to promote their debut EP "Deconstruct the Season".

Talena first started her vocal coaching with company Vocaltutor, with whom she has now been a long standing associate teacher.

Talena's passion is within the rock & metals genres, helping vocalists achieve their true potential. She has taught many styles of music and vocal methods giving her the knowledge to fuse ideas from all musical fields together.
